BOSSS
The Borough of Stockton Swim Scheme (BOSSS) is a training scheme for members of the three base clubs: Billingham Lifesaving Club, Stockton Amateur Swimming Club and Thornaby Swimming Club.
About BOSSS
BOSSS was started at the beginning of 1998, with the support of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. It is affiliated to the Northumberland and Durham Counties Amateur Swimming Association.
This website aims to provide information about the structure of the scheme, how it's administered, information about the staff involved and most importantly the aims of the scheme.
Training takes place at the three pools within the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, Billingham Forum, Splash and Thornaby Pool.
All BOSSS swimmers are required to be registered with the ASA for competitive swimming. Base clubs deal with the ASA registrations, and differing arrangements apply (please check with your base club).
Child Protection Statement
We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our members so they can swim in a relaxed and secure atmosphere.
The Borough of Stockton-on-Tees Swim Scheme and the ASA believe that the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility, particularly when it comes to protecting children from abuse. Everyone involved in swimming, administrator, club official, coach, parent, friend, children themselves, everyone can help.
